Well turns out I am not any better updating this thing for Matt (oops!). Luckily Matt was able to come home for Thanksgiving weekend and spend some quality time with me and Brynlee. It was so fun to have him back even if it is only for a short time. We had so much fun while Matt was home and Brynlee must miss him a ton because she has been an unhappy little girl ever since he left. We spent Thanksgiving day with Matts family and the rest of the weekend just hungout, watched movies, went bowling, went on a date! It was a really good weekend. Only 24 more days until he comes home for Christmas break!

Brynlee is growing so big! She is currently working on getting her bottom front tooth but it doesnt seem to bug her too much. She is also perfecting her crawl, at first she would only crawl to a treat or toy but now she crawls wherever she wants. It is so fun to watch her learn new things, she is such a smart little lady. She also love to growl, ALL THE TIME, but especially when she is drinking her bottle! It is the funniest thing I have ever heard. This little girl is going to have quite a personality she already wants to do things herself and doesnt like when you grab her arms, she jerks them away fast. Brynlee LOVES her food I have not found anything she doesnt like yet (maybe on the first try but after that she LOVES it) most of the time she makes it obvious I am not feeding her fast enough by growling at me. Brynlee is also becoming a great little sleeper (after ALOT of HARD work and many many sleepless nights) It took over a month but Brynlee now sleeps from about 7 at night to around 8 in the morning only getting up once to eat and then she goes right back down. Lets just say this has been amazing for both of us. I can tell she is a much happier baby when she is getting good sleep and I am happier with more sleep also. Brynlee loves reading books she will sit in my lap and read 3 or 4 books with me everynight sometimes even more! Brynlee is such a blessing in our lives and we love her so much. Matt and I are always saying that she is the best thing that has every happened to us and I cannot imagine our lives without her. We love her so so much!

Well it has been a seriously long time since I have updated our blog. Brynlee is doing awesome! At her four month appointment she weighed 15 pounds exactly (88%) 25 1/2 inches long (90%) and 75% for her head size but I cant remember the cm. She is now rolling over but mostly only rolls from her back to her tummy but will occasionally go back onto her back. She is getting so big and getting so smart. It is so fun to see her learn new things she is the best thing in our lives we love her so much.

We have officially moved back to Utah and Matt gets to stay with us until September 6th, then he flies to Texas until December. We loved living in Monterey! It is such a beautiful place and we had some really fun friends there who I will miss a ton! Matt did so awesome in his class in Monterey. He got a 3-3 on the final test which is the best you can get and graduated with a 4.0. He gave a little speech at graduation which was fun to see. My parents and little brothers were able to come down for his graduation and we went with them to point lobos which is a really beautiful area with a bunch of different hikes. We also went whale watching which was fun, we didn't see any whales but it was still fun to be out on the ocean and we saw a lot of jelly fish. I also have a video from when me, matt and Brynlee went to wild things which is a place with elephants and big cats mostly. Me and Brynlee got to feed the elephants which was so much fun!

Anyways I will be keeping my blog more up to date now that I have the internet and then Matt can check our blog from Texas to see pictures of Brynlee.

Our little girl finally arrived! She weighs 7 lbs. 1 oz. and measures 20.5 inches. Today has been an amazing day and one that we will never forget. It is hard for us to be away from our family, but we know that they love us and support us so much. We are also very fortunate to have the church in our lives because members of the ward here in Monterey are already helping us out. Everything is going well. We are very blessed.

I am 39 weeks tomorrow and SO ready to have this baby girl. I am so excited but still nervous for delivery. My doctor said it could be any day now and she wouldnt be surprised if I have her sometime this weekend! I hope she is right! Anyways in the mean time I made some little girl booties and took some pictures (mostly to show Jenni) I am sure all 3 of you that read my blog are sick of baby projects but they are just so fun! Anyways hopefully my next post is pictures of our little girl!

Well I finally finished a couple of the projects I have been wanting to do. The lamp shade did not turn out the way I wanted it to but after putting in the money and time I figured I better not throw it out haha. I got the idea from a really cute lamp shade on pottery barn kids but I wish I would have chosen a smaller lamp shade. Also the flowers I ordered are really peach, when I ordered them online they looked more pink than peach. I should have just returned them and got the color I really wanted but I got too anxious to start. Oh well it looks okay. Also I have been wanting to make a car seat canopy so I found some fabric I liked on sale! I am also making one for Jenni and Jill and I love the fabric I found for theirs, I hope they like it to :) Anyways nothing really new here just waiting for this little girl to get here but it will probably still be a couple weeks, last time I went to the doctor they estimated she was only 5 lbs and I would like her to be bigger than that so I guess we can wait a little longer.

Well this past weekend we finished painting the crib and re-doing the dresser. We painted the crib pink and the dresser white with pink on the insides of the drawers and this really cute pink contact paper. I took some pictures but they really don't do the dresser justice, Matt did an awesome job painting it and the knobs are SO CUTE! Also I am loving the crib! I still need to find a lamp shade for the lamp by the crib and finish adding flowers to the lamp shade on the table so the room is not quite done yet but it is getting close.

Last but not least here is the lastest belly pic. This is me at 34 weeks, getting pretty huge I know. A nice woman at target the other day told me I must have one big baby to have such a big belly haha! Then she went on to tell me how the doctor stole her last baby so I need to keep a good eye on my baby so she doesn't get stolen...

Well as most of you have heard I am moving down to Monterey California to join Matthew. It has been an interesting last couple weeks to say the least. I am moving this Friday. I am really excited to be moving down there with him! It will be nice to be together and now we know for sure he will be there when the baby is born and for the few months following! I found us an apartment down there and it is pretty cool...wood paneling on EVERY SINGLE WALL!!! It will be awesome haha! Also I am having my baby shower this Thursday which will be fun, if you didnt get your invite it is because it has been a mad house and I only found out I was moving a week ago. It is at my moms house is South Jordan at 7 on Thursday. I also had a couple invites returned to me so I will try to give you a call. I was going to put up a belly picture because I am now the big 30 weeks! BUT my camera and cords are already packed so that will have to wait. Anyways I hope all is well with everyone else. Wish me luck on my 13 hour drive!!

So I have been looking for a diaper bag. They can be sooo expensive! I am having a hard time spending so much for a diaper bag. One that I really like it the Petunia Pickle one, there is a picture below. It seems very functional but is $89! Not sure I want to spend that much but I would hope it would last for all of my babies. Anyways the question is do you think spending that much on a diaper bag is ridiculous? I have been kind of looking around and it doesn't seem like that much more than diaper bags at target and other places. So for you mommies out there any advice on what diapers bags are good and where to look? THANKS!

28 Weeks!

Well I am 28 weeks along as of yesterday. I feel like I am so big now. I can feel my little girl kicking more and more all the time. It is a really cool feeling. I got to talk to Matt on the phone today which was nice. I didnt get to talk to him very long but anything is better than nothing I guess. He gets his phone back next Wednesday so we should be able to talk a lot more then. My schooling is going well, it keeps me busy. My job is okay they are starting to let more people go so we will see how long it lasts (I am a temp, Matt says not to worry but I am a worry wart. Anyways everything is going really well with me, Matt and our baby girl. Hope everything is going well for you.

Well I finally got a new camera cord so I was able to download some pictures. Here is me at 4 weeks, the day we found out I was pregnant. Then getting an ultrasound at about 24 weeks and a the last picture is about 25 weeks. I am now 27 weeks and have some more recent pics but I didnt want to download more pictures because our computer is ghetto and takes forever. The pregnancy is going really well, I have an appointment on Monday but our baby girl is kicking around and getting bigger. When I have my ultrasound at 24 weeks she was measuring about a week ahead so we will see how we are doing on Monday. It is crazy to think I am 6 months pregnant! That went by soo quickly, I hope the last 3 months go by just as quick. We now have alot of the big stuff purchased we have a stroller (thanks to Matts parents for Christmas YAY!) carseat, baby bedding (thanks to my parents it is sooo cute!) crib, dresser, and the cloth diapers are on the way. We are both getting so excited for this cute baby girl to come to us! Matt is doing well, he finishes Basic Training on the 27th of this month then he goes to his individual advanced training in Texas. Once he is done with basic we will be able to talk on the phone more which will be sooo nice! Writing letters is nice but talking on the phone is soo good! It is hard while he is away but it is nice that I can stay busy with school and work and it sure does keep me busy! I am taking 6 classes this semester and working 40 hours! It is crazy but nice because then I dont have time to feel lonely or sorry for myself haha. Our Christmas break was so nice! It was amazing to have Matt home for 2 whole weeks! He got to feel our baby girl kick and was there for an ultrasound which was nice. We had soo much fun and it was hard to have him leave again. I cant wait until April comes because then I get to meet my baby girl and Matt will be home shortly after that (hopefully he gets to come home for the birth to). He should be home for good in May and then we can move on with our lives, I know that is a poor attitude to have but really I feel like we are just stuck in limbo not being together. Anyways I dont update very much and my posts are never very interesting so sorry! haha

Well he is actually out Christmas shopping right now. I am so glad he is able to come home for Christmas! It has been so very nice to have him here with me! I love him so much and am so very lucky to have him as my husband. We went to my doctors appointment this morning and both baby and I are measuring perfectly and are healthy. I have had such a good pregnancy so far. We are so very blessed!! I know it would be so hard on both me and Matt if things were difficult for me while he is gone and I am so glad that we have been so blessed and things have gone so well so far. I have such an amazing husband! He is going to be an amazing father. He is so patient and kind and always willing to help others. I hope our baby girl gets his good heart, he really is the sweetest man ALIVE! I am really starting to show, enough that strangers even ask me if I am pregnant so I am getting pretty big. It is weird but exciting at the same time! Matt was able to feel our little girl kicking and it is so fun! She gives some good kicks and punches, you can see my belly move sometimes when the kicks are really strong. I am really excited but also really nervous to be a mother. What a huge responsibility not only just to feed and cloth but to love and teach. I guess I still have a few months to prepare. I hope everyone has an amazing Christmas (yes all two of you that read this) my sweetheart just pulled up so I better go give him some suga ;)

4 More weekends!

So just four more weekends alone and I get to see Matt! One of which is my favorite holiday THANKSGIVING! I figure I went 19 Thanksgivings without Matt I suppose one more wont kill me although I would much rather he could come. Brittany got married this weekend and everything turned out beautiful for her! It was such a nice ceremony and reception. It is fun to go to sealings and remember the covenants me and Matt made to each other and our Heavenly Father. How lucky I am to be sealed to him forever (and our soon to be little one too!). It sure makes me appreciate what a good man he is and how lucky I am to have him. He is going to be such a wonderful Dad he is the sweetest most patient person. I got three letters from him this week and got to talk to him once so it was a really good week! The only down side to the week was I had a ton of homework and I didnt get everything done that I should have so this week will be crazy too! I have two stats tests this week that I am dreading, I would really like to do well on the tests but I am getting very anxious about them which is never a good thing. I know blogs are sooo boring when someone doesn't put pictures but really this is acting more of a diary for me to get my thoughts out. I feel like I am starting to get a little belly although I mostly just look like I have gained a couple pounds and dont look pregnant quite yet but I am only 18 weeks so I think that is okay but hopefully I will start showing soon. I would like to look pregnant when Matt comes home for Christmas just cause I think it would be fun. Anyways that is all for now.

So my parents have pictures up of all the kids in our family in our kitchen. My little niece Abi was eating dinner in the kitchen and saw Matt's picture on the wall and said "I love Matt, I want to marry him someday". I thought it was the cutest thing ever! Boy are little kids the cutest! Also my wonderful sister Jenni made me a countdown to when Matt comes home. She bought one of those countdown to Christmas calendars and then changed it to countdown until Matt comes home that I get to start opening on November 23rd (which is the same day as my 20 week ultrasound, I cant believe I will be half way!). Then I only have 24 days left and he gets to come home for 17 days!! She is sooo wonderful! So I am redoing a dresser that I got for $20.00 that I am pretty excited about! I will post before and after pictures when I am done but it still needs a lot of work. I have a lot of projects I want to do for the baby but I am having a hard time getting motivated! With school and work I feel like coming home and being lazy. I guess I only have four projects I am REALLY wanting to do, I want to redo the dresser and crib we have for the baby and make this really cute lamp shade and mobile. I really need to get some motivation. This month it seems like I have at least one thing going on every weekend so hopefully this month will go by really quickly, weekends are for sure the hardest. Well I still cant find my camera cord or I would take a picture of the calendar cause it really is so cute! She put a picture of Matt's head to cover Santa Clause and a picture of my head on one of the little kids.

So My mom ordered the baby bedding I am in LOVE with and giving it to me for Christmas! YAY! I am sooo excited for it!

On another note Matt got to call me yesterday and tell me the dates he will be home for Christmas, he will be home December 17-January 2. I am hoping to plan a couple fun things for us to do while he is home! Geez I miss him a bunch already and talking to him was kindof hard but sooo good to hear from him! Anyways let me know what you think of the bedding I really am OBSESSED!

Well my Matthew is gone. He had to go spend the night in a hotel on Monday and Tuesday but I was still able to spend a little time with him both days which was nice. He then flew out on Wednesday but I got to talk to him throughout the day on the phone. He called today just to verify some information but his phone has been taken away so he wont be able to call. This is going to be hard but worth it. I sure am missing him a ton. I think weekends will be the hardest, my weekdays are so busy that I am easily too distracted to mope around. Keeping busy with work and school will be good for me, but these pregnancy hormones sure aren't helping much (haha as if I wasn't emotional enough already!). I swear I am not going to be all negative and sad all the time but I figure I am allowed to just one time the first week he is gone. I got a card from him today and he sure is a sweetheart, sorry ladies but I for sure got the sweetest husband there is! He also bought me a box of those rice krispy treats with the message things on them and wrote me a nice note on every one, but I am going to wait and read them slowly as I take them to work for my lunch. It was nice we were able to go to the doctor and see our little baby girl the day he left, I really wanted him there for that. He took a few pictures of us and the baby with him. I have just been focusing on him being gone until Christmas because that doesn't seem to far away and those two weeks will be fabulous! I am glad I am living with my parents, there is always someone here to talk to or keep me thinking about other stuff. If you haven't figured out already I sure am a baby and don't like to be away from Matt too much haha I mean its only been a couple of days. On a different note I am now all registered for Spring semester and am pretty excited for my classes, they all seem pretty good and the professors all got good ratings. Well I still haven't posted about our trip and when I find my camera and cord I just may but no promises haha!

Back to Reality!?!

Well we are back from vacation and we had a blast! It was so good to get away just the two of us for a week. I will post more about our vacation later when I have downloaded the pics. For those of you who don't know (which I think most do although some figured out by facebook on accident..I wasnt going to say anything on there but aparently signed up for a pregnancy calander thing) I am pregnant! I am due on April 15th and we are sooo excited! If you know our situation Matt will be gone at military training so it was a bit of a surprise but we are still really excited and hopeing Matt will be able to come home for the birth. I am 13 weeks along and havent really been sick (besides this cold that I cant get rid of) which has been a real blessing because I have been really busy with work and school. We are going to our next appointment on October 25th, the day before Matt leaves, to hopefully find out the sex although it is still a little early. I am not showing so a picture wouldnt really be fun because I still look the same. I will update my blog if we are able to find out the sex. Another note we are having a going away party for Matt on October 23rd at my parents house in South Jordan, all are invited! Please come and tell Matt good luck! Let me know if you need directions or anything.

Well nothing really new happening with us. Just working, school, eat and sleep. We are getting ready to go on our cruise in a couple of weeks and are really excited! We leave on Oct. 2 I am a little nervous about getting motion sick so if anyone has any good ideas, medicine or anything that helped them LET ME KNOW! When we get back we are moving our stuff into a storage unit and moving me in with my parents (well a couple weeks after we get back). It will be a busy next month or so. Matt leaves on October 26th. It has really snuck up on me! It will be hard when he is gone but luckily I have a great family to keep me happy and I will be crazy busy with school and work. My school is going good so far, it has been an adjustment because I forgot how stupid some classes are. I have one class where we only discuss actual class material for 20 minutes of the class and the rest the time we are talking about random stuff. I guess I shouldn't complain because it will probably be an easy A but it is still frustrating because I am paying alot for the class and I bought the book too! Anyways blogs are always boaring without pictures but I am at work so no pictures sorry :( Just trying to keep you updated with my boring but wonderful life!

I have gotten so far behind I kindof gave up! So I am just going to give highlights of the past little while!

-Matt graduated from the University of Utah with a Masters in Urban Planning.
-I got a new job at StubHub which I am really liking!
-Matt joined the National Guard and will be a linguist for Military Intelligence.
-Matt will be leaving for basic training on Oct. 26 and I will be moving in with my parents.
-I will be starting school full-time in the fall, attending UVU
-We are going on a cruise at the beginning of Oct. as a going away trip before Matt leaves for 10 months
-Matt went to yellowstone with his family but i couldn't go cause I was working.
-We went to McCall for the Thomas family reunion.
-We went to Bear Lake for the Marler family reunion.
-We have a new niece Lexi (Natalie and Andy's daughter) born on the 4th of July.

Well I think that is all for now.....I will add some pics in no particular order.

This post really has no point, there is nothing uber exciting happening in my life so I am just posting random thoughts.

1. My hair is really dry, I mean Sahara desert dry, and I was wondering if anybody had any tips? I googled and found some tips: examples, do not wash hair letting natural oils repair dryness, use mayonnaise as a mask ( YUCK that one made me gag) and different treatment products so off to the store I went. I bought this product coconut milk (only .84 at target whoot whoot) hopefully it will work the reviews online look promising. I also went a whole day without washing my hair (don't worry I still showered) and it was horrible I felt like my hair smelled all day and looked greasy, so I am not doing that again! On a side note the smell of this product makes me want to eat it, soooo delicious!

2. My parents bought me a beautiful new sewing machine for Christmas and I have not even used it yet. I have these projects running around in my head but after my last FAILED project I am scared. If anybody has any cute easy projects (I really like making clothes and stuff) then send them my way cause I really need to get over this.

3. I found this dreamy duvet cover at anthropologie I want it soooo badly! I cannot stop thinking about it, I even have dreams about it!

So if anybody want to buy this for me I will gladly accept :)

4. For one of my new years resolutions I wanted to try a new recipe once a month and thought I would share. For January I tried this cream cheese chicken crescent rolls and it sooo easy and delicious! here is the recipe

I also got a delicious recipe from my neighbor for a tasty pasta and tomato salad it is sooo good but the recipe is pretty detailed and would take to long to write on here but you should all come over to my house and I will make it for you :)

I think I would be really fun for a bunch of ladies to get together and do a craft night, recipe night, quilt night, play bunco or something, especially sense I may or may not be moving soon so let me know if you are interested. Sense quitting my job I have more time on my hands and could organize a get together.

Well I have not blogged in quite a while so I will just start with Christmas, we spent Christmas Eve with my (Leslie's) family and Christmas day with Matt's family. I had to work Christmas Eve but I got off at 5 so it wasn't that bad, I just headed to my parents house right after that and met my Matthew there. We had a big Mexican fiesta it was delicious pretty funny though because my mom probably made enough to feed a whole army! After that we read some Christmas letters to remind us what the season is really about and opened our one Christmas Eve present, which is always pajamas. Sense Matt and I were not going to be there for Christmas morning we opened all of our presents and had them open ours, I am pretty dang excited because my parents got me a sewing machine now I won't have to borrow my mom's every time I do a project! After that some of us played some ping pong and watched the Christmas Story (what a funny flick!). Then we headed home, we had decided to open our presents to eachother on Christmas Eve because we were trying to get to Farmington at like 9 and I am not a morning person so it is best if you wake me up as late as possible. Christmas morning we headed up to Farmington (Matt's parents house) we opened presents and had a big breakfast! Both mine and Matt's cameras had broken so Matt's parents were nice enough to get us a new camera! Now we just have to be better about taking pictures haha! Matt's sister Lara got us catch phrase which I LOVE! We played that ALOT on Christmas and have played it a lot sense hahah! We stayed until like 5ish just playing around and having fun and then we went home and watched the proposal which I got from my little brothers (such a good movie!). Later that night we went over to my parents and played 1-13 with my parents and brothers and I didnt come in very last so I was happy! My absolute favorite thing about Christmas is the wonderful music, especially done by choirs at church it always get me tearing up (which I guess isn't that big of a deal haha). Matt was in our choir at church and did an AMAZING job on the Christmas program, Christmas sunday is one of my favorite sundays of the year :) All in all we had a pretty AMAZING Christmas! We hope you all did too.

Well next on my list of things to blog about, we bought matt a new car! His truck was pretty much falling apart and even though we had planned on just running it until it died I was about to strangle "someone" with my frustration on having to get it fixed about every single month. Matt had wanted a Subaru WRX but we new we couldn't really afford one of those but went to the Subaru lot to look anyways, they were having a pretty good deal on a Subaru Impreza and we took it for a drive and decided we couldn't pass it up so we took it home with us. Here is a picture of it, we are hoping it lasts a LONG time! It is an 09 with 11,000 miles on it so keep yours fingers crossed for us that we don't have anymore car problems for a while.

We also had a really fun New Years Eve! We had some friends over and just played games (catch phrase, disney scene it, and charades mostly) and ate a TON of food! Here are some pictures of that.

Last on my list, Matt and I took my little brothers (Jon and Tyler) to a Jazz game for their Christmas present (it has kind of become a fun tradition). We went just last night to the Jazz vs. the Denver Nuggets I am pretty sure haha, if you know me at all you know I only go to sporting events for the yummy treats so for the most important information of the game yes I did get a churro and yes it was AMAZING! Besides that the Jazz didn't play very well and lost (also becoming a tradition to go to a game where the Jazz lose I guess) but we still had a TON of fun!

That is all sorry so long, but I am in protest because nobody ever comments so I don't think anyone is reading it making it a waste of my time but my friend Kylie told me I needed an update so here ya go!

Thanksgiving!

I love thanksgiving so much, it is my favorite holiday! It makes you realize how very blessed you are and I just wanted to share some things I am thankful for. I am so very thankful for my husband, not only is he the most supportive and caring husband but we also have loads of fun together and he always keeps me smiling and makes me feel like a comedian (which is good because I think I am pretty funny). Matt is so important to me and I love him so much, he is the very best thing in my life and I don't know what I would do without him. I am also very thankful for all of my family, boy do I love families, who else is there for you no matter what. They are the absolute best! I love all of them to pieces! I am also very thankful for the gospel and the fullness it gives me in my life, it directs me in every way and makes me so happy :) I am also thankful to have a job, a car, an apartment, friendly neighbors, amazing friends, kisses, hugs, nieces and a nephew, and love! I hope everyone enjoys their thanksgiving, I sure am going to :)

So it has been a while sense we have blogged because I forgot my password and couldn't remember it for the life of me. Finally I remembered what email address I had set it up with so I could reset it YAY! Anyways me and Matt have been having alot of fun the last little while, we went up to my grandparents cabin in Bear Lake with some friends for the weekend and had a blast! I love going up there and playing on the wave runners, laying in the sun, playing lots of games, and eating TONS of snacks! We were happy our friends could come have fun with us and I will put up a few pics that I got. We also made a trip out to Washington DC which was such a blast! Matt was going so he could do some work for the sierra club so they flew him out for free and Matt's brother Myke (who lives out there) was nice enough to let me use his frequent flyer miles so I could go out there with him. We went early so that Matt could take me around to all of the fun places and I had so much fun. It was my first time going to DC so it was really cool to see everything. We went and saw most of the monuments and memorials on the mall, went to a couple museums and went to the DC temple all of which were really AWESOME! We walked soo much I even had bloody socks a couple of times (just in case you wanted to know hahah) all in all we had an amazing trip! Oh and on the way home was my first time flying alone and I was pretty worried but it was totally fine I am just a worry wort I guess haha. Besides that we have just been doing the same old thing and loving life!

Raspberry Days!

Leslie and I went to the Family Reunion last week and we had a blasty! I (matt) finished my summer classes on Thursday night and we drove to Bear Lake that night. We arrived in Bear Lake pretty late so nothing of significance was done that night. Leslie and I slept on the deck, that was fun, I like sleeping outside under the stars.
We went to the craft fair the next day (Friday) and saw lots of stuff. We felt obligated to buy some beef jerky after sampling just about every flavor they had. Leslie also bought some chocolate covered raspberries. They were tasty! I ate a Motherload burger which consisted of a burger with cheese, dutch oven onions and a polish sausage. That's right, a polish sausage on my burger!! It was fantastic. Everybody was jealous. I challenged Jon to a basketball shooting game. The loser got showered with water. I ended up pretty wet because I am awful at shooting basketballs. That night the whole family went to Pickleville Playhouse. Their production this year was pretty great. I had some issues with some grammatical errors, but it really was one of the best productions I've ever seen. The script was written by one of the performers and he did an excellent job. The jokes were relevant, clean (though not culturally sensitive), and very funny. If you are in Bear Lake this summer you should take a night and go to Pickleville. The play is called "The hanging of Jaunito Bandito", everybody should check it out.
Saturday morning we woke up pretty early to run the Raspberry Days 5K. There were quite a few of us that ran it this year. I didn't do as well as I hoped, but I didn't expect to do that well. I am completely out of shape and having strep throat the week before didn't help me much. Saturday is also the day that everybody spends at the beach. We played in the sand and water all day. My poor little feeties got sunburnt, but that is to be expected. I go from white to red almost instantaneously in the sun.
Saturday night we had the food contest. Leslie and I didn't put as much thought and effort into it this time. We didn't win either. Uncle Scott and Aunt Lara won two out of the three categories with their candy sushi. I thought it was a very creative idea, I just wish that I had the idea.
We all went to church on Sunday and then had FHE. We were in charge of FHE this year and Leslie did a great job planning it and delivering it. She is such a great wife!
Raspberry Days was super fun this year. It is easy to see why this is one of Leslie's favorite weekends of the year. She has such a great family and I am lucky to be a part of it.

What are you listening to right now? Well I am watch Law and Order so I am listening to that and Matt is taking a shower so I can hear that too

If you could have a house, fully paid for, anywhere in the world where would it be? Some where in the Sale Lake Valley, in a big beautiful Victorian house with a nice big back yard.

What is one of your favorite hobbies? Reading for sure. I just love reading about people, relationships, mystery, all kinds of things..if anybody has any favorite books they would like to share I would love some new books to read.

Describe your personal style? well Matthew would say it is funky (his word for weird) but I would just say it is pretty plain most of the time with some weird clothes, I just like different things.

Haven't Done This in a While!!!

So I don't have the excuse of being busy I have just been lazy and not posting anything, but at least I am doing it now. We have had sooo much fun this summer! Matt has been doing summer school and I have been working a little at 24 hour fitness but mostly we have just been spending a lot of time together. May 19 was my birthday and Matt was nice enough to plan me a surprise party it was sooo much fun and I really had no idea it was coming. He had my cousin Audri and sister Jenni come and take me shopping and then when we cam back our family was there to surprise me. It was soo much fun I really do have the best husband ever.

Then on June 6 it was our one year anniversary which is sooo crazy!! Time flies by so quickly. Matt had a ultimate tournament in Ceder City that weekend so after that we headed down to Las Vegas for a couple of days. I had never been there before and it is a little crazy for me but we still had fun. On our last day there the clutch went out in my car so we had to stay an extra day. Luckily neither of us had anything going on so it wasn't a big problem. We had some fun while we were there though, we went to all of the shops (which i LOVED) and we went to the tournament of kings show which was a lot of fun! Even though our car broke and cost a freaking ton to fix it was still a fun trip. Sadly though I did not take a camera so we dont have any fun pics.
Also sometime in June (I cant remember what day) me and Jenni did the relay for life. It was really fun we were planning on walking all night but then it started raining and storming really bad so we hid out for a little while and then decided we should probably just go. The other people there were much smarter than us and brought tents but we just had some tarps and had to make our own shelter it turned out to be pretty cozy. But we decided that we should get a big group of the family and do it all together next year as our own team! Wouldn't that be way fun!

July has also been a fun month with the 4, Matt's 26th Birthday, and Carlie's Wedding! On the 4th we went down to green river with Matt, me, Carma, Ryan, and Lance and went down the river for the day it was alot of fun! I LOVE being out in the sun! Then we drove back home and went and saw fireworks with Jenni and Christian. Then Matt's Birthday was on the 18 but we celebrated it on the 19 because Carlies wedding was on the 18. She got married in the Jordan River Temple and then had her reception that night it was such a nice day and everything seemed like it went perfectly for her. I am sooo happy for Carlie and Seth congrats to them. Then on the 19 we went and had a bbq at Matt's parents house for his birthday it was alot of fun and they sure spoil him. His mom got him a PS3 for his birthday and he LOVES it! I benefit as well because it came with confessions of a shopaholic on it which is one of my new favorites! Again I forgot the camera so we dont have any pictures of Matt's birthday I really need to be better at that. Well that is pretty much all we have been up to I will try to update more often.

25 Random things!

Okay first I will just say this is Leslie not Matt and I am suppose to say 25 random thing about me. Oh and I tag everyone who reads this!
1. I really like reading and one day I want to have a cool library like the one on beauty and the beast (AWESOME!!!:)
2. Subway is pretty much my favorite place to eat I could have turkey sandwiches for every meal for eternity and not get sick of them I swear it!
3. I like to think about ways to make money without actually doing anything and have actually invested some money (along with Natalie) in some really cool ideas that I found out later were scams. What mean people to pick on silly girls.
4. I get in these moods where i could seriously talk for seven hours and not run out of things to say. It usually happens right about bed time and I am pretty sure it drives Matt crazy sometimes but he just laughs.
5. I have a crazy head and think up stories and stuff when I am driving to pass the time and sometimes make myself cry or laugh out loud and then get all embarrassed even though I am by myself haha.
6. I really like going tanning or laying out in the summer it is very relaxing for me.
7. I wish I was a country singer with cow girl boots, big hair, and cute dresses.
8. I really LOVE veggie soup it is so tastey and I have it almost everyday for at least a snack.
9. I have alot of shoes but really only wear a few of them.
10. The older I get the more I blush and It is so terrible I am pretty sure some peoples goal in life is to make me blush everyday and I hate it.
11. I always thought I was a good speller but turns out I am not.
12. I would rather buy new clothes than eat me and Jenni would always go shopping in Logan and then say we didnt have any money for food. Between a new shirt and mac and cheese for the next week we always went with the shirt.
13. This is really long and I am running out of things to say.
14. I have a corner in my room where I throw all of my clothes when I am done wearing them even though the hamper is not that far.
15. Everyday I decide I want more kids than Matt said we originally agreed on haha
16. I dont like scary movies and I am no fun to watch with anyways because I usually cry or get nightmares or get really sweaty and nervous it is GROSS!
17. I only like to workout for like 10 min. and then I am ready to go home.
18. When I forget how to spell words I just shorten them and trust that people with understand.
19. I am a really bad/lazy texter so my texts never make sense cause I never change the words to the right one.
20. I really like the color pink.
21. I think it would be cool to have a closet with paisley wall paper and a chandiler.
22. I just barely got use to telling people I was twenty and will probably be 21 for 6 months before I say I am 21 not 20.
23. I have the best husband in the world, I am pretty freaking crazy but he likes it!
24. I pretty much Love everything but potatoes.
25. I hate losing in games if I lose then I hate the game.

UpDate!!

So we haven't updated our blog in a long time so I guess it is about time. We have been pretty busy, Matt is busy busy busy with work and school and I am just working and being lazy around the house I guess haha. We have been married for seven months and it has been the best! I swear I have the best husband ever I fall more and more in love everyday, I am so very blessed. We also have the best families ever and we are so thankful for that, they are so supportive and we have so much fun when we visit them. We set some fun goals together for the new year and hope it will be fun and productive for everyone. After all of the sad stores in the news recently I have decided that I want to adopt like 20 kids but Matt is not totally sold on it yet. He liked it better when I just wanted 4 instead of like 24 haha but I guess we will see ;) I just got a new job at Discover card just processing information but it is only temporary I am hoping it turns into something more permanent. I am also looking forward to selling wholesale True Religion jeans and Juicy Couture, Coach, Ed Hardy, Chanel and D & G handbags, the perks are great :) who doesn't love new clothes and bags haha. Matt recently purchased us gym passes to the Murray rec center (part of our new year goals) we have had fun going together a couple of times and Matt even saw David Archuleta which was kinda neat though I have yet to see him there. Our Grandpa Thomas recently passed away and I was able to go up to Pocatello for the funeral and it was such a nice service. I was worried I wasn't going to be able to go because I was still in training at Discover but luckily the let me go and I am so glad they did, it was so nice to hear so many great things about my Grandpa. What an amazing example he was always so kind and so Christ like, I will miss him a lot. Life is so wonderful and we are so thankful for all of our many blessings and especially for the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for the direction, joy, and comfort that the gospel gives me in my life. Well I hope everyone had a nice 2008 and is excited for an awesome 2009! Love you all bye :)

San Diego, Fun in the Sun

We just got back from San Diego where we were lucky enough to see our two good friends Nate and Lila get married. The wedding was pretty great! It was small, beautiful and very special for them.

The vacation for Leslie and I was pretty great. Thanks to priceline.com we were able to stay in a nice hotel in downtown San Diego and drive a convertible Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder. We spent the first day on Mission beach catching some rays and riding on the roller coaster next to the beach. Leslie got a pretty sweet Henna Tattoo on her foot, it is super cute!. That night we ate at the House of Blues in downtown, less than half a block from our hotel. The food was awful, but I guess it is cool to say that we have been there.

Nate invited us to his grandparents' house the next day before the wedding. We swam all day in the pool, well I swam while Leslie laid out and got a super hot tan. That night was the wedding on Hospitality Point near Mission Bay. The wedding was fun to see and Leslie and I were able to dance together all night. I loved dancing with Leslie. I am so lucky to be married to her.

Our final day was spent once again in the sun on the beach. We went to Coronado Beach with the newlyweds and a bunch of friends. I, once again played in the water, played disc and tried to ride some waves while Leslie laid out on the beach and worked on that hot tan. She and I both got pretty burnt, but it was well worth it.

This is one of our wedding pictures (obviously) We got married on June 6 It was a little overcast and windy...but everything went perfectly. We got married in the Salt Lake temple and then had our reception at The Gathering Place at Gardener Village. It was so much fun to have all of our family and close friends there...even though it was wonderful and I was so happy ofcourse I cried like a million times...no surprise there :) Well maybe I will put up more pictures later. Our Life!

Well we have been married for just over 2 months now...which seems quite crazy to me! We have been pretty busy having lots of fun. We went to Costa Rica for our honeymoon and had so many fun adventures. We stayed at a resort right on the beach, we got to feed some wild monkeys and rented wave runners in the ocean. We were having so much fun we accidentally missed our flight and ended up staying an extra day, but we were glad to come home and start "real life" together. Matt works at backcountry.com for the moment, he starts teaching next month. He is teaching a fifth/six grade split class. I don't know who is more excited my mom or matt! I am still working at America First Credit Union trying to find a full-time job hopefully something will come along soon. Matt starts his masters at the end of the month, he is going to be so busy hopefully I will too.

Most of my time is spent at work, reading, or watching the one tree hill seasons that my wonderful husband gave me. Matt has become a one tree hill fan also although I don't think he would be willing to admit it he likes watching just as much as I do. We have had tons of fun watching them together. I have recently read the Twilight series and am just as obsessed as everyone else, I started reading the first book on our honeymoon and couldn't put it down. Luckily I only took one so only one day was lost ;) I am now reading The Host but just barely started so I am not sure if I like it yet or not. Well that is pretty much our life haha maybe I will get Matt to blog too so you will get both perspectives. Love you all!
